Bintan! Sunny island~

Bintan was fuN! although we had to cut short it to one day in the end, which was kinda depressing.. we took loads of pics! reached there at about ten to eleven in the morning, but ended up napping til two because it rained in the afternoon..our room was right beside the beach and the pool, and was really quite cosy, even after the extra bed was shifted in..

Went around to Mana mana, the seasports hut down the beach, which has changed management from the last time we went, so we were left with only a few sports to choose from--bananaboat, body surfing, kayaking, snorkeling, windsurfing, jetskiing, and sailing or so..damn sad! and the bananaboat and kayaks were all taken up by all the rafflesians who were there having some camp or smth. damn rich lah! go there have leadership camp..they had a catered buffet on the beach for their campfire at night toO! which was how cool la! i wanna have a camp like that too.. haha

anyway, so, we decided to go check out the ATVs..Action Terrain vehicles..it was a hell lot of fun!! basically we got a drive round the place for about half hr in big macho Wheels, and cos it just rained, there were so many puddles to splash in! haha THIS IS WHAT I CALL SPLASHING! the hot wheels just vrOOmed and SPlashed and sizzled w steam..super shiok! too bad nv take photo..came back dotted in mud and some mosquito bites..we passed some really superb views at the beach too! the guy brought us to a really Awesome view of the sea, near some round rocks..the last time went w ma and dad..wished we had snapped them down..

Went to book a buggy to drive round e island too..for one hour, we got the whole buggy to ourselves! and the funny thing was ours happened to be low on batt, and we ended up pushing the buggER up and down the hills for the second quarter of our hour..haha was damn funny lah! even the RJians trekking around walked faster than our buggy can!! it was so slow the whole group actually caught up w us from miles away, AND THEN OVERTOOK US! ahha we were laughing all the way and being mosquito fodder..heng got 3 of us.. then we went back to complain to claim back e time..haha! and got a much faster buggy..

Went down to the kelong for dinner that night, after basking abit in the sea and pool, soaking in the moonlight and clear water..really, if only Singapore had beaches like that! anyhoo, the food was yummy! got the set menu, w crab and prawns and fried babysotong~ mm! and then this two germans came by and took pictures with us! haha okay damn friendly..

hm well the day ended with a really bone-loosening massage in our room! my masseuse came late, but started off quite well..really creaked all my bones right..but then she exerted too much strength the rest of e way despite some weak protests from me..walu this is the first time i got blueblacks on my back from massage! xP haha okay but it was not bad..

too bad the entire trip was so short, but it was fun! pics below! :)

dear Diary,
things have been going rough for me, and stuffs been coming that make me cry. but i'm gonna pull through this. i will! this too will pass, right? i hope i made e right decisions, and that i will hold strong to my faiths. fwoc will be coming up, and i hope that takes things off my mind..i'm so glad cousins Jiangshu n weixiang are coming in!! hope they really get into KR, or at least be able to them more around campus..can't wait for my batch of guys to come in!! at least there'd be those i'm close with in all this shit too..haha! nolar, more like the comfort of knowing they're close by..
well, stuffs not ALL been bad..there was the seasports camp, which rocked my socks! really learnt what i wanted to learn, got to try out the different sports--at least 3 which i totally felt the thrill of, namely, windsurfing, wakeboarding and sailing! it was the ultimate coolness seriously..super happy! more things to tick off my list of things-i-must-do-in-my-life..hahaha it super kicked in the adrenaline and i wanna do them again!! i simply must, sometime.

And S41 met up! oh that was before SSC actually. hmm love my peeps to bits! took lotsa photos, and as usual, it was eat, chill, chat and stay over the time limit..haha quite heartwarming. the simple joy of catching up, basking in familiar, comfortable companionship really are one of the things i have come to cherish, and it truly is a blessing to have these peeps in my life!

Ma booked the tix to phantom too! was really touched by her gesture, esp when it was during e exams..anw, the show was awesome!! loved the songs and effects, and it was gd family time too! haven't done this in ages man, like, gg out as a whole sixsome and all..felt really gd! anyhoo, my favourite bits were the rowing through the underground lake, where the smoky dryice effect made the river really look real! like, you could see the "water" part when the phantom rowed through..superB! and my fav scene was where christine visited her father's grave too..i like the songs there best.. realise i have all the scores of PTO! with lyrics and all..so happy..been practicing like mad, just for fun (:

Well, thats been so far what i've been doing the past two wks, besides the continuous addiction of HOtman I and II on crunchyroll.com and just basically being a couch potato..heh. oh yes! visited cafe del mar with debs n sy too on tues nite. free tix for that night, but anway its quite unimpressive--ended up basking on the "bed" on the beach, chatting..act i fell aslp for 20mins if i'm not wrong? haha cos i was really exhausted. anw seriously. it was either the WRONG night or the beach cum clubbing concept just doesn't work out..cos the beds were damp and sandy, and the light of the dj didnt'really reach us, and there were like, nada people dancing at all! save the mat/minah couple grinding each other near the pool. so depressing! thank god i had gd company.. ok i'm gonna give it a chance since it was tuesday nite, and we went at 9pm..haha!

anyway, fwoc starts soon! like tml. hope my weekends don't get so burnt! or else i'll become lazy again and like type SUPER long entries like this only like every fortnight. To the Big man upstairs, I pray with all my heart and soul things turn out right! Or may i thank you in advance for your foresight, to let me go through this thicket of pain right now so i can embrace paradise beyond?? oh man i duno wad i'm saying anymore..

whee..3down and 2to go..well. not exactly whee.. i don't think i did very well this sem..not even close well. sighs..butbut.. the hols are near! and i can feel the rush of all the things i wanna fulfil! the other me is hammering to get out and feel the suN! i can't wait.

i think the exam season really brings the niceness out of everyone!! not counting the cranky muggers. so far i've got many little favors and gifts from random people, and even more so from those i love.. see! baozhu and lina made this!! oh and the blue packet and coaster is some chocolate blanc from japan from Andy! when i was feeling down today after econs..it was depressing, really. but back to the point, everyone's been extra nice! Shawn dropped by with milo dapaoed from fongseng last night, and Baozhu also made potato salad and lotus root soup yesterday!! oh man i'm so glad i've got the block mama for my neighbour..haha.. living with aunties rock.

Just had block Command, and it is already nearing 4am..one more night down for studying.. but the time spent just now was really worth it i guess. We had so much fun! the food, effort and speeches by the seniors were superb, and really touching..The seniors--15 of them--had their last speech/gathering/supper with Cblk..and i really really will miss them!!

I think it isn't obvious to anyone cos i'm like so super passive, but yes, i have always enjoyed being in shortwing with my auntie neighbours, and have become so used to their niceness that i think i take for granted the little things they do for me, like baozhu shutting my door and switching off my lights for me when i drop off to sleep in the middle of studying at 2am, and like lina, tzeling and jiayi always asking me about dinner and whether i want anything from Shengxiong or things like that.. it's so sad they're all leaving in one shot!
they've been a big part of my first year of hall life, and every one of them have left a piece of themselves with me and i guess i've left a piece of myself with them somehow or other too..

And the guys..wenhao and edwin and lingxin.. of all three to leave the block.. why, wenhao's secretly my fav senior..cos its always such a joy to have him around and his jokes can sometimes form the most perfect tummy-splitting moments..sadly i never got to talk to him much though. i think he'd probably make a fantastic friend, and under all that joke-and-laughing exterior he's probably one real, charismatic and focused person.

Edwin--haha i think recently i've developed a tweeny crush on him..he and his bad boy looks/behaviour/style and all.. yes its another look-from-afar thing again, but if only there were more time, he'd be the perfect brotherly figure and friend to laugh and hang around with..

Lingxin--he and I had a special time playing the hall piano together.. it was but one, short session, but i guess it really was something i always wished i could do with someone more expert and different on the piano..again, i wish there were more times like this! and then there was keshin the cat he brought in, and whom i helped feed several times..brought me much closer to its owner too..and found out his talents and love for animals.

things are gonna be real different with them gone..quieter, perhaps, without baozhu and wenhao..i guess every batch goes thru the same thing. but as wad baozhu says, it really is up to us to create our own fun..today's command really gave me the motivation in fwoc and i'm so much looking forward to it now!

well. exams first.. hope i can accomplish more sooN! econs II came back and it was the pits..so worried for this sem..but hope i can pull thru!! buddha bao you~~

Just thought of something!!**lightbulbsflashing** i wonder if Dad has enough money to franchise krispy kremes..all that project work and comments i've been hearing abt it has been making my wheels turn..

Why not try a hand at it?? if dad has enough money..i mean. it'd be nice if my dad owned one or two KK outlets..like how TK owns bnj! plus, Krispy kremes totally sounds profitable. maybe if dad really has the moolah, then i'll go find out how TK does franchising and maybe start something!! haha wad an exciting thought.

chocolate heaven~

I love my sundays! it really is hard to study on a sunday and i realise i haven't managed to get any studying done today.
it is like, soo hard to resist the comfort of home, and time off with the boyfriend is just so pleasurable i can't help but forget about the impending exams..tsktsk.
anyhoo, had lots n lots of chocolate today!! haha soo happy~ finally got down to the long-awaited maxbrenners with the boyfriend today after dinner at glutton's sq, esplanade. well. it IS easter today, anyway. *big grin* ooh i can feel those endorphins..

finally, because it's been coupla weeks since i've mentioned max brenner's to him, and had specially reserved that restaurant in mind to have only with him. haiya, shld have gotten my gal pals, i realise. cos chocs are ultimately a girl's delight! haha..anw. back to the point. we had suckao, the really cute eggcup in which to melt chocolate chips in, added with milk--comes in milk choc, dark, and white! chose dark of course. my fav! mm~
and then there was this drink. a deliciously warming, alcoholly concoction of chocolate and cognac! yum! it was really heavenly..came in this really authentic jar served heated, and it was simply delicious..caught a whiff of the cognac even before the liquid touched my lips. omg. love it to bits man..was nicely warmed and filled after drinking several cups of it( had to pour it onto this pretty shot-cup which took like several servings)..
i must recommend it! but i forgot the name of the drink and i hadn't my cam to take pics of it too!! i can just kick myself. well but i guess it wun be the last time i'm gg back there! ((:

today was so satisfying..haha i must do this more often..hm. or maybe i've been doing that recently??? haha gosh. i really cannot enjoy my food too much..it is so bad for the figure. lol!
well, two weeks to the biggies. i better hype my concentration level. like really up it wayway up to the top notch..super slow the rate i'm studying...i so CANNOT do badly this sem. CANNOT!! i must get that cap up to go SEP..i must i must! okay, enough playing already..tml's a brand new day and the start of my two-week race to the finish. (:

Had a fab time catching up w daryl today!!
Went down to Vivo (lols cos i was studying in hall) and had loads of food!!
haaha okay i shan't say its alot but it was definitely satisfying!

was finishing like, my bowl of bimbambap or some korean mixed rice thingy, plus a siew mai,
and suddenly daryl commented and said: "Wah actually u can eat alot."
hahahaha oh no oh no seriously!! like, OKAY, i get the hint i'm getting faaaaat!!

its okay, i will be fine soooon..when the hols come..why?
