Week 4 of work!

Woots it's been an awesome two days so far! :) Wed was the general meeting with the whole team, and I got to know the people in Luke's team so much better! I guess, it won't be too hard to fit in after all! :)

Went thru all the assigned jobs everyone was supposed to finish and revenue forecast for the year 2010, and I realise that they all have damn alot of events in store for a whole year! Some big clients, some small stuff. Cool.

THen the highlight was the after-lunch actually. When the whole team went out to Brewerks (walau i have never had beer for lunch lor) and got jugs of beer and lotsa food! Was truly stuffed. They then ordered another two extra jugs of beer (I think cos Boss was paying) and then we were all so stuffed we had to play some game to finish it. So. it was "I have never", and BOY. all the dirty secrets came pouring out..I mean. Didnt' know u had to be so honest at beergames, but anyway. OMG really. I. Didn't. Know. LOL. tsk, the difference between the school people and the work people. Now, this is the real twang!

We had such a guffaw over many things and it was pretty entertaining seeing who did what and who's never. well anyway. Went back to the office red-faced, and settled some stuff before the team headed out for a "Conference" again, to... Crystabelle at Chinatown! Had some fun K-ing and knowing them a lil' more..Really glad that most of the team are pretty young, so i mean, they all know each other pretty well already, but I guess time will solve things. Just hope that I'm not too jia kantang.

Anyway, Yesterday was awesomer!! Met up with random girls, Yilin, Jo and Crystal, and we headed out to this really Uluated place "Sunset Grill" at Seletar Camp, and had such an adventure finding the place!! Haha wonderful GPS and bad direction-sense! We went round and round and almost drove into a ditch! haha but we found the pretty place in the end, and had such Hotass Buffalo wings at Level 5! Darn it was really like chilli-padi hot!! Gahh!

The other dishes were fab tho! Yummy white-wine mussels and fried mushrooms and yummy Clam chowder!! Super stuffed. Of course. The best part was the catching up! :)

Jo, got me psyched up all over again about WAT and America; which, of course I've been trying to forget and cool down after the Summer hiatus, and it was so interesting hearing about everybody's BF statuses and all the inside stories!!

OMG awesome we really have to do such randomness again! The best thing with old friends you've shared a past with is that it's always easy to hook back up again and there's always no awkwardness nor difficulty finding topics!! In fact there was too little time to finish talking actually. We realise we haven't seen each other for like, 5 years? SOooo much to catch up on!

And we wanted to revisit Cedar again during lunch break (for me n yilin) today! Cos it's like Jo's last day before school starts. Ohwell didnt' work out, but good also la, I have an event today to attend.

Yayy so happy. okay things are all going well in life except for the BF who is no where to be found (online of course). I know he's started work and all that, and well, I've started work and all that, so I can't really cater to the horrible timing esp with daylight saving time and all that, but we've been emailing? :( I don't like. not the same, not the same at all!
