Snicker, Snicker, Snickersnackkk!

Yayyy this week is officially over, and another week of work, dance pracs, and events is gg to roll over again all over me.. I have officially 2 case analysis reports, 3 project reports, 3 presentation slides, 2 dances to master and something new to learn (secret!).. *faints*!! It really feels as if once I finish a ppt/report another one pops out again. NEVERENDING!!

This is officially the busiest 3 weeks ever this whole year can!!! And next week, when my 4 presentations and 4 reports are due, there is also Old Hats supper, C blk culture night, and Command to prep for.. woohoo. I guess this is something to remember command for man. the overwhelming wave of work. lol. Oh yes, we finished our videos! Yay i can't wait for it to be compiled..some parts are pretty funny.. :)

Anyway, I wanted to post about Amplitude!! :D My first ever! In terms of watching or performing.. so exciting! I'm so glad it's one more thing I've done in KR. We were the best, of course, according to the audience, and from the video, too! So happy.. And the pics are all over fb! Makes my short hair look pretty awright, I kinda like it! And I got to wear my red Wizard of Oz heels for e first time! Made me ultra tall, but I love it! Accentuated my 70s outfit. :)

Super fun, my second time only, and this time w a pro (Samuel)..but we went abit early and had to leave early so it was quite short, but well. Sweet. :)

Oh yes, and today was Cheerobics behind Zouk in the carpark! Went down to support..my first time! It was awesome, and a little heartstopping, when our Steppers did their stunts.. They really did fabulously, hardly any glitches at all! So when we were announced third, I was personally astounded, and most were shocked. Tops swept away by NTU. :( The second team honestly wasn't as good as us! :(( Sighs. Well anyway we caught this group of mgs pri sch gals for a pic. Aren't they super adorable? Damn tiny in their cheersuits. Had to take a pic! :P

I've got a mean streak.

Sometimes I'm so mean I shock myself. But most of the time I realise it too late. They say 泼出去的水是收不回来的.. sighs. That happens alot to me and sometimes I think if I were with Me, Myself and I, one of us would have taken a gun and shot the other already, or at least given the other one tight slap. Sighs.

Lord grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

I just heard the most absurd thing on radio. Sue's on with her usual invites for the audience to call her with a secret/scandal, and this guy, with a deep voice, called up with this really really hilarious experience of his. I swear this is the hardest I've laughed in six months!!
Here's an excerpt on part of his convo w Su:

Guy: I was clubbing that night when a really hot girl started dancing very closely to me.
Su: Ooh nice!!
Guy: Then you know some girls, when they dance very close, it's like grinding, you know, it was very close and she was practically grinding me the whole night.
Su: Wow, lucky you!
Guy: Yeah, she was dancing on my lap the whole night.
Su: Oh, then what happened? Did you get her number or something?
Guy: No, then when the night finished, and the lights came on, I couldn't find her, but then i looked down at my pants and there was this patch of red. (WTFF!! HAHA)
Su: EEEEEEEEEE!
Guy: Ya, there was this patch of red and I couldn't find her
Su: That time of the month,EEee! that's quite unlucky! (laughter)
Guy: Ya, and this pair of pants I wash 3 or 4 times already, but there's still a stain on it!! It's quite light, but u can still see it you know. Whenever I wear this pants my friends call it the Period Pants. (HAHa!! SICKKK!)

haha damn gross rightt!! And then the DJ offered to give him this Kotex gift bag which had a stain remover that he could use. and he was like. " You think I'm a girl ar!" haha wadever. I think he is damn SUAY!! ROFL~

Anyway that was super gross and hilarious. What a turn of emotions for me cos I was deep into the sweetest part of the Twilight book I borrowed. It's damn nice la. I really can't put it down..sighs. getting me into one of my I-wish-I-found-my-dreamlover moods again..

Okay anw that's a story for another day. :D

Things are gg to change somehow now I suppose. I wished it could be otherwise but maybe now it's for the best anyway. I just hope u get what u are planning for and have a blast next year. :((

I hope I can move on from KR. :(

School.

Barely have time to breathe and relax recently..I know I really should quit harping on the fact that i'm swarmed with work but I can't really help it! It's been one thing after another and days have been pretty cramped with hall life, classes, and projects..and last night i guess I got quite blue after realising I have to cancel the one date I finally could arrange for myself with Tiffany, for a good dinner and movie.. Sobs!

I think i get pretty anal when I don't get fed well.

Actually despite my ranting i think a tiny part of me is enjoying this sadistic part of busyness now.. It really is fulfilling in a way, counting down each glitch-free project presentation and report well-written. At least I know the list of projects for the entire sem is being ticked off one by one..rather finish it now than rush all after the midsem break..which is next week.

Speaking of which, sis gets to go to Genting for abit! Sighs. I need a break too. But i think I won't be able to dump this heap of work and leave the country in peace..unlike the exchange students in two of project groups.. :S How free the life of an exchange student, and woe betide the rest of us who have to "kang" the load.. Reading week for me is not gonna be much better! :(

I can't wait for some me time tho. I have been clamoring to get my hair cut--even Bao's beaten me to it. And she cut it nice n short! Schweet.

Vday was project discussions back-to-back..Was drained the whole day, and managed to just give a coupla chocs to a few ppl in hall before rushing out.. Didn't have someone special to do anything for, so I bought dad a rose when he picked me up after proj. :) Which he recycled and it was passed from ama to ma to waihan. haha ohwells. I'm so busy this week it's insane!

Yay but got ppl say i grew skinnier, which is prolly the result of my one-and-a-half meal per day schedule. sighs. I do love my food y'noe. Gonna feast after next wk..After ProjectsdiscussionsprojectspresentationsQuizMidtermsProjectsDiscussionsProjectsReports.

And I thought this sem was gonna be easy.

Anyhoo. Floorball carnival just ended!! ENd of IHG! And we got third..after really exciting games..I gotta play juz abit, my own fault for being so bu zhen qi when Baolai first put me in. Kinda redeemed myself in e last game, but. Damn I should've been better. HAll production was over on Fri too! That was an amazing amount of time spent in UCC..all e waiting and rehearsing..
Ok la but it was cool. I can say this two events are still the firsts of my life.. :) We learn smth new everyday huh.

The little Angel

The Little Angel=================
There was this little girl sitting by herself in the park.
Everyone passed her by and never stopped to see why she looked so sad.
Dressed in a worn pink dress, barefoot and dirty,the girl just sat and watched the people go by.
She never tried to speak and she never said a word.
Many people passed but no one would stop.
The next day I decided to go back to the park in curiosity to see if the little girl would still be there.
Yes, she was there, right in the very spot as she was yesterday, and still with the sad look in her eyes.
Today I was to make my own move and walk over to the little girl. For as we all know, a park full of strange people, is not a place for young children to play alone.
As I got closer I could see the back of the little girl's dress was obscenely shaped.
I figured that was the reason people just passed by and made noeffort to help.
Deformities are a low blow to our society and, heaven forbid if you make a step toward assisting someone who is different.
As I got closer, the little girl lowered her eyes slightly to avoid my intent stare.
As I approached her, I could see the obscene shape of her backmore clearly. She was grotesquely shaped in a humped-over form.
I smiled to let her know it was OK, I was there to help,to talk.
I sat down beside her and opened with a simple, "Hello."
The little girl acted shocked, and stammered a "hi,"
After a long stare into my eyes,I smiled and she shyly smiled back.
We talked until darkness fell and the park was completely empty.
I asked the girl why she was so sad.
The little girl looked at me and with a sad face and said,
Because, I'm different.
"I immediately said,
"That you are!"
and smiled.
The little girl acted even sadder and said, "I know."
"Little girl," I said, "you remind me of an angel, sweet and innocent."
She looked at me and smiled. Slowly she got to her feet and said, "Really?"
"Yes, you're like a little Guardian Angel sent to watch over all those people walking by."
She nodded her head yes, and smiled.
With that she spread her wings and said, "I am. I'm your Guardian Angel," with a twinkle in her eye.
I was speechless and sure I was seeing things.
She said, "For once you thought of someone other than yourself. My job here is done."
I got to my feet and said, "Wait. So why did no one stop to help an angel?"
She looked at me and smiled,"You're the only one that could see me," and then she was gone.
And with that, my life was changed dramatically.

So, when you think you're all you have, remember, your angel is always watching over you.
