HOME!

Hey world! I'm back in Singapore! And life's been great, except that my heart's still left in VA.

Well so I flew over from SF alone to Taiwan, and met Angels along the way. The Filipino Cabbie in SF, and the Limousine driver in Taiwan.

Well basically I was stranded, and honestly I kinda felt abit lonely and lost, because on the plane I was really getting excited to meet peeps from back home! Anyways, I met really nice people at the limousine service at the airport, and basically this lady and fatherly figure helped me dial the numbers of more than 8 hotels, so I could follow my backup plan to book the cheapest hotel for myself.

And then when I managed to contact the rest, the Uncle actually took me for a cheaper price in his car and then brought me around abit, treated me Taiwan's famous bitter tea, and really took care of me! I've never experienced such generosity and warmth from a stranger, and it was pretty overwhelming..

Anyways. So I'm back here, and we had an S41 outing on saturday, which was awesome!! Almost 15 of us turned up again, the usual number, and really caught up after 3whole months! Even Yeanching the lost girl came! Didn't see her for nearly a year! It was amazing. These peeps really made me miss home.

Met up w Xiaowei too! I missed her loads! She's hilarious as usual, and grown up in many ways now after Shanghai.. Some ways I wish she wouldn't have gone thru. But still, we've both improved in our own ways after travelling.. She from the East, and Me from the West. So it was the East meet West actually! :) Realise the world is really small afterall. And the world has flipped. The people I met were more conservative than the people she met in China! It's become the opposite now, it's ironic, and a little frightening. I'm glad I went to the West though. Really glad.

Well coming back to hall, I feel a little cut off from the rest cause of missing FWOC and all the orientation thingys. Hopefully I'll catch up soon! Plus it's IBG season meaning I gotta get my stamina gearing up again! Bleahs. Have to start exercising soon!! haha cannot slack Year 4 cannot slack!!!
